We’ve always been fans of the single-color-cartridge printers for that very reason. The cost of replacement is astronomical. We just got a wireless Brother that does the same thing though. Lurve it. Lots. It’s also a copier, fax and scanner. It’s in direct competition for Appliance of the Year with my dryer.

It’s all systems go at HACK!

Now, we just recycled a small printer and have NONE (oh yeah, we have a huge one in Trinidad. Will not be shipped till January). So what’s the model # on the canon? Is it working with your Dell? We neeeed a printer here! Is it a basic printer, no scanner, no fax?

I’m always terrified of buying anything, because it will be THE WRONG THING and NOT WORK WITH VISTA and I will want to THROW IT OUT THE WINDOW.

Thank you so much for the tour of the inner workings of HACK. Always knew that there was a method to your madness. That printer sounds cool, gonna have to do a little investigating. All printers are relatively inexpensive, it’s the dang ink that isn’t.

Thanks again for the wonderful tour, and tell John that I like his handiwork. Now if I can only come up with a cool acronym….
