Hey, what's with all the ragging on us "savers"? Don't you people know the immutable natural law that says that any time an object is discarded, it will automatically be needed within 6 months? And, the more expensive it is to replace and the more desperate the need for replacement, the sooner it will have to be replaced. Perhaps you do not realize that savers are now the saviors of the environment. By keeping all our stuff, we are being "green" by delaying the filling of landfills so you discarders will have a place for all your "junk. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. Now, if I could just find my reading glasses in all this junk on my desk so I can proof-read this response...

I was a hoarder. And then we had 4 kids, a few dogs, and lived in a single wide trailer. I now am one of those people who will throw away anything that doesn't move on it's own or has been used in the last 3 weeks.

But I'm thinking that Henrietta is a little old for majo changes like that to take place.

Wow - you're way more efficient than I am. And I LOVE purging stuff. It's the best part of moving - when I packe dup all my stuff for storage I - um - removed some of my husband's articles of clothing that I - um - hated. Because - well - I figured he wasn't there for the move (since he's in Iraq and all) so I got to decide what stays and what goes, right?

My GOD woman! HOW do you do it all AND prepare a delicious meal that I will be over to eat next time??? Maybe you could just post the recipe. UmKay? Tomorrow's blog - SOLVED!

I have the Big Garage Purge of '08 to look forward to this weekend. We are planning to enclose it, and we must FIRST get all of the crapola out of there. Can't blame it on anyone else - just us. OK, mostly ME. I have notebooks and research papers from college. Don't judge. That's just the tip of the iceberg. I have tried purging in the past, but it's so boring that I always quit and do laundry. That's MUCH more exciting. I'll have to remember to take pictures.....

Have a great Thursday:)

My husband is THAT person in 50 years. He cannot part with ANYTHING, and our garage is filled with crap that he's been holding on to for all his life. There are boxes and boxes of college papers (cause, you know, he NEEDS them), toys (some are actually broken), and clothes. OH MY HELL the clothes. He will keep a t-shirt just because so-and-so gave it to him. It does not matter that it no longer fits or has holes or is otherwise embarrassing.

How about when you're done you come clean my garage? What he doesn't know won't hurt me! :-)
